The Bassermann-Jordan 2023 Deidesheimer Hohenmorgen Riesling Grand Cru dry is a wine from the Pfalz region. The Hohenmorgen vineyard, considered the best in Deidesheim, has a south-facing slope with loamy sandy soil and red sandstone. The grapes were carefully hand-selected and gently pressed. Fermentation took place in a combination of large wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks. The wine has herbaceous, discreetly fruity, and fine smoke aromas, with flavours of yellow fruit, nuances of mango, pineapple, and mirabelle plum. It has an animated sparkle, becoming juicy and complex, with sparse minerality giving it a fine mouthfeel. This wine is suitable for both men and women.
