The Sanrensei Junmai Daiginjo (Red) Watarifunerokugo is a junmai daiginjo sake that has been pasteurised only once. Made with Shiga Watarifunerokugo rice, it has a freshness typical of unpasteurised sake. The aroma is subtle, with notes of raspberry, wild strawberry, and red apple skin. The mouthfeel is rich, with flavours of mango, blood orange, rice flour, and cream. It has an astringent finish. This sake is best served chilled, at 8-12°C.
