Cuvée Frédéric Emile is always from two Grand Cru vineyards above the twon of Ribeauvillé: Geisberg and Osterberg. With maturity, it develops extraordinary depth and complexity, with enticing aromas of candied lemon peel, lime marmalade, quince, pineapple, chamomile and honey. Fabulously satisfying, its rich texture is kept fresh by zesty acidity and enlivened by intriguing notes of beeswax, pine forest, pineapple and lemon. The wealth of fruit character creates an impression of sweetness, however this is an illusion: it is in fact pretty much bone dry. Gloriously ready to enjoy now, this could be cellared for longer if desired.
