This distinctive Gran Reserva is cellared for more than a decade before release. From a small section of the El Puntido vineyard, planted to high density to create a concentrated wine suitable for long ageing, it builds bold notes of espresso, bitter chocolate, peppery spice, Cuban cigars and hot tar on a foundation of concentrated plum fruit and deep, velvety tannins. A wine defined by structure and complexity, it warrants savouring slowly, to allow its magnificent, subtle nuances to unfold. While intense, it is supremely balanced and polished, with lingering flavours.
