£26.80

This Spätburgunder is a typically traditional Pinot Noir from the Ahr region. It has rich berry aromas like blackberry, blueberry, and raspberry as well as ripe cherries, strawberries, and blackberries with spicy hints of juniper and laurels. A smooth dry red wine, it has an elegant tannin structure and good substance. The grapes were selected by hand and gently pressed. The wine matured in old oak barrels. The Ahr vineyard that produced the grapes for this wine has soil rich in slate and greywacke decomposition stone. This wine pairs well with poultry, light meat, pasta, and mushroom dishes. It's also a good companion to spicy grilled meat or fish dishes. It's best served at a temperature of 15-16°C. This wine is suitable for both men and women.
