Cooper King Whisky Trio, 3 x 70cl

This is a very rare bundle of 3 Cooper King Whiskies. Transatlantic Heritage floor-malted grains are mashed by hand before an extended 6-7 day fermentation and double distillation in a 900 litre copper pot still. The spirit is then matured in a mix of ex-Bordeaux wine casks and ex-Bourbon casks. Nose: fruit compote, vanilla and toasted oak.Palate: rich malt, cocoa, parkin and butterscotch.Finish: long and complex with vanilla and cinnamon. Adding water releases hints of marzipan and toast on the nose, followed by generous helpings of baked apple, dried hay and a luxurious, vanilla pastry sweetness on the palate.
