The Maranges vineyard, primarily a Pinot Noir red wine area, also has a few Chardonnay vines. It forms the link between the Côte d'Or and the Saône-et Loire, sharing esteemed vintages with Santenay. This wine has a beautiful dark red colour with purple reflections. The bouquet is expressive with notes of sour cherry, liquorice and chalky notes. It is a wine with finesse and a long finish, suitable for poultry and red meats, as well as spring rolls, grilled ribs and braised pork.
