This Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) Grand Cru is a rich golden yellow wine. It's a dry white wine with elegant fruit notes of ripe pineapple and pear, and a very harmonious acid structure. The vines are 38 years old. The wine is smooth and pairs well with fried crustaceans such as lobster sauce or filet of monkfish in Pinot Gris sauce. It's best served at a temperature of 11-13 degrees Celsius. The wine is made from expansion in stainless steel and used Barriques. It's a unisex wine with an alcohol content of 12.5% vol. and a residual sugar of 1.3 g/l, with an acidity of 7.0 g/l. The wine comes in a 75cl bottle.
