Becker 2020 Kammerberg Spätburgunder Grand Cru dry is a 75cl wine. This wine is from a south-facing vineyard located near Weissenburg, with a soil composition based on a large limestone rock and a low circulation of clayey loamy topsoil. The grapes were carefully hand selected, de-stemmed, and separately fermented on the skin for 2 to 3 weeks in oak vats. After fermentation, they were gently pressed and matured for 18 months in small oak barrels without filtration or fining. The wine has a deep, ruby color and aromas of wild berries, tobacco, bitumen, and black tea. On the palate, it is dense, powerful, and juicy with a very good length, elegant freshness, and excellent structure. It has great ageing potential. This wine is suitable for both men and women.
