This is a beautiful wine. Elegant, long, cinnamon-dusted red fruit; a grace note of rose petals and slightly stemmy notes of damson and chestnut skins. Complex and deeply savoury, with rich and supple fruit. The tannins imbue the wine with a silky tension while still bringing a wonderful rubbed-bark texture. A bouquet with aromas of sour cherries and vanilla, it radiates pure elegance, appears firm and reminds of flint. The fine salted caramel notes round off the long finish.
