This was new but been in a storage box for many years. I suspect the battery needs replacing, it's the old mobile phone type battery. It works off the ISB mains but when disconnected it turns off, so suspect it's the battery which is failed and not holding charge? Selling as faulty for spares parts, but the cartridge contains many classic retro GBA games. Still has the screen protector and only opened the USB to show it running
