The girth connection of the EDIX® Tequiro western saddle is derived from the technique developed by George B. Mc Clellan in 1855. The triangular connection allows the girth force to interact over a larger area of the saddle, as the connections are attached to the front and rear of the saddle, rather than in the middle.
