Mechanical and biological filtration substrate for simultaneous water treatment. bioMECH is intelligently engineered: dirt particles, both fine and coarse, are retained in the capture pockets. At the same time, a porous structure filter substrate enables colonization by cleaning bacteria and thus reliable biological degradation. The material is pH-neutral and contains no hardening agents. EHEIM bioMECH is suitable for both fresh and seawater and can be reused several times.
