Grow on in cooler conditions until all risk of frost has passed. Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions over 7–10 days. Plant outdoors in warm, well-drained, humus-rich soil in full sun. Water regularly around the base, maintain good airflow, and hoe to prevent weeds. Feed fortnightly with a high-potassium fertiliser once fruits start swelling.
