Thompson & Morgan Thompson & Morgan Philadelphus Petite Perfume Pink 3.6 Litre Potted Plant X 1

£26.99

Philadelphus ‘Petite Perfume Pink’ is the pinkest variety of Mock Orange, winning the RHS Chelsea Plant of the Year Award 2025. This compact, mound-forming shrub produces hundreds of fragrant pink, four-petalled flowers with yellow stamens from May to July, filling your garden with a sweet orange-blossom scent. Its dark green deciduous foliage provides a striking contrast to the blooms. Ideal for urban gardens, this hardy shrub thrives in containers or borders and tolerates drought once established. It adapts well to partial shade and a wide range of soils including chalk and heavy clay. Resistant to coastal conditions, air pollution, and dry banks, it is perfect for challenging locations. Grow in a sunny or semi-shaded position in well-drained soil enriched with well-rotted manure or compost. Plant at the same depth as in the pot, backfill, and water well. Water regularly during establishment and mulch in spring to retain moisture. After flowering, prune by cutting back stems to a healthy bud and removing about a fifth of old stems to ground level to encourage healthy growth. Height and spread: 1. 2m (4ft).
