On the morning of 7th August 1974 Philippe Petit (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) began a walk 1350 feet above the ground between the Twin Towers in New York City. Using just a balancing pole to keep him upright Petit attempted to make a journey that no man had ever made before with hundreds of onlookers gazing up from below. The cast also includes Ben Kingsley Charlotte Le Bon and James Badge Dale.
