Maverick folk artist and touring veteran Rev Hammer has been writing and releasing music for over 40 years. He regards his music not so much as a passport to fame and fortune but as a ticket to ride and has enjoyed numerous tours, collaborations, and projects over his long and varied career. The Old Crow Folk Club album features 23 of his songs reimagined by friends and artists including Justin Sullivan New Model Army, Mark Chadwick Levellers, Maddy Prior Steeleye Span, Simon Friend Levellers, Seth Lakeman, John Jones Oysterband, Dan Donnelly amp Jon Sevink Levellers, Nick Harper, Kathryn Roberts amp Sean Lakeman, Nick Parker, Joolz Denby and more. Each artist chose a song and were given free rein to make it their own. The combined result is an eclectic and fabulous body of work breathing new life into some of Revs vast back catalogue.
