The Synergy Friedman BE-DLX 2-Channel Preamp Module is designed for guitarists who require the tonal identity of the Friedman BE and HBE circuits in a compact modular format with detailed control. Created with direct input from Dave Friedman the module reproduces the harmonic profile and gain behaviour associated with the original amplifiers. Each channel includes its own gain volume and three band EQ which allows independent configuration of rhythm and lead settings. Per channel BE or HBE switches adjust gain structure from controlled crunch to high gain saturation. Additional FAT and Gain Structure switches provide further refinement of low-end presence and overall drive. With two 12AX7 valves managing the preamp stage and a dedicated Cathode Select function shaping low frequency response the BE-DLX presents a focused interpretation of two respected amplifier voices.
