This square steel downpipe socket is used to join two pieces of 80mm x 80mm square steel downpipe together. It should also be used to join the downpipe to a running outlet. When connecting two pieces of downpipe together, we would recommend leaving a gap of approximately 6mm to allow for potential expansion.
