Often once items are placed on a pallet for shipping there is a need to further secure them with horizontal wrapping that will prevent the load from slipping or coming apart. One way to do this is with the use of shrink wrapping which is where plastic is placed around an object and then heat is applied to contract the plastic until it grips tight.
