The Shire Cottage Playhouse has an attractive asymmetric roof in the reverse apex style, meaning the main door opens on one of the lower walls and not the gable. The roof shape offers plenty of room inside the Cottage Playhouse and an internal raised platform is supplied to make full use of the inside. The mezzanine area is 830 x 1720mm and comes with a safety rail to help prevent accidents. The Shire Cottage Playhouse also sports the unusual feature of a loft-type dormer window above the door. Made from smooth finish tongue and groove walls, floor and roof. Safety hinges are provided to prevent little fingers from becoming trapped. Two window boxes are included too. The glazing provided is made from a safety styrene, a tough plastic that does not shatter like glass when broken. Mineralized felt is provided to cover the roof. Full instructions will be supplied upon delivery, along with all the fixtures and fittings needed to install this wooden playhouse.
