When you receive your corten steel product, it will appear silver - once exposed to the elements for at least 3 days, the rust layer will start to form to give the product it's final rustic look. Please note: Corten steel takes approximately three days to start to develop its protective layer, depending on weather conditions. If you wish to speed up this process, you can rub salt and/or vinegar.
