This is the Power Base unit for the Sega Master System and is sold as seen without any cables, cartridges or cards. Without the accessories I am unable to check the unit is working but have no reason to believe that it is not. I believe that it is a fairly early model but someone with more knowledge of the product may be able to clarify this from the photos but it shows as model no 3005-05-A
