This top class Auslese wine is a concentrated blend of honey and peach flavours. The grapes for this wine were grown in one of the oldest of Schneider's vineyards in the Nahe region of Germany, on steep, south-facing slopes that warm quickly and retain heat due to the soil's richness in grey slate and volcanic rock. The wine is produced from a small yield, resulting in a very high quality product. The grapes were gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel vats with natural yeast, then bottled in April 2022. This wine is suitable for both men and women, and is available in a 0.375l/75cl size. The wine has an alcohol content of 8.5% vol. and a residual sugar level of 109.3 g/l, with an acidity level of 9.3 g/l. The vineyard is 45 years old.
