Molten gold is poured by hand into a one-off sand mould, picking up the texture of the sand as it sets and cooling into a band that's slightly different from every other one we've ever made. The surface keeps the imprint of the sand, so the finish feels found rather than worked.. Each ring is poured and finished by Lisa Morgan in her Stamford workshop. The mould is broken after the pour, which is part of what makes the rings genuinely one of a kind — we couldn't make the same ring twice if we tried. Most are made to order, though we occasionally have one or two sizes ready from stock.. Please note: each ring is sand-cast by hand to your chosen size, so resizing isn't possible once it's made.
