QuantX Natural Resonance Reverb gives you much more control over how your reverb sounds especially in the high frequencies. While the original hardware naturally reduced brightness above 8kHz QuantX lets you adjust this range from 4kHz up to 16kHz so you can make your reverb darker or brighter depending on your mix. Instead of using a simple filter it recreates how the original hardware shaped sound resulting in a more natural and musical tone. This means your reverb doesnt just sit behind your sound it blends in smoothly and adds depth without sounding harsh or artificial. What makes QuantX stand out is how it captures the character of real vintage hardware including its imperfections. Relab studied three original units from different parts of the world each with its own unique sound from clean and precise to warm and slightly unpredictable. Using advanced technology and machine learning they analysed how these units behaved over time even down to how heat and ageing components subtly changed the sound.
