Ramos Pinto Quinta de Ervamoira Vintage Port 2020 is a full-bodied, dense and yet elegant wine. Produced only in exceptional years from the best plots of Quinta de Ervamoira, located in the Douro Superior. The wine has an opaque, dense colour with very intense fruity aromas of raspberry and wild berries. A slight floral hint of violet and a touch of peppermint. The palate is very structured and complex, with unusually silky and fresh tannins combined with layers of red berries. The finish is silky and aromatic. This wine is produced from a total area of 234 ha with 178 ha under vine and an average age of 30 years. The quinta lies in a rocky area on the banks of the river Côa, where the weather is hot and dry, adding density and body to the wines. Only 9,200 bottles were produced.
