The 2016 vintage was very special in Ribera del Duero, classified as very good, and stood out for its high quality, with lots of fruit, volume, and great longevity. From this harvest comes Protos Reserva 2016, made with 100% tempranillo (tinta del país). It comes from old vineyards, over 50 years old, and has been aged for 18 months in American and French barrels. The most prestigious guides have awarded it high scores, for example, 94 points.
