The Meinl JAM Cajon is the perfect cajon for playing on the go. With a compact and lightweight design the JAM cajon is easy to carry to acoustic gigs or drum circles. Crafted in Europe from Baltic birch wood the Meinl Jam Cajon has a great low-end punch when played near the centre and offers snare drum "slap" sounds when striking the top corners of the playing surface. The dual internal snare string fitted inside create a sound that is perfect for providing the rhythmic foundation for acoustic music. They offer a high-quality traditional tone with excellent projection for a cajon of its size. The Jam Cajon has a rear sound port making it easy to mic-up without the risk of disrupting the microphone whilst slapping the Cajon. The compact sized Cajon is fitted with rubber feet so that the Cajon will not move when in use.
