Traditionally timbales are made entirely out of metal but the Meinl Hybrid Timbales feature a siam oak ring adding warmth to the sound and an interesting aesthetic. The Meinl Hybrid Timbales feature aluminium lug casings providing accurate tuning and adding to the overall aesthetic. These timbales include a height-adjustable tripod for maximum playability as well as a cowbell holder and a tuning key.
