The Meinl Frame Drums - 12" Goat Skin Bendirs - African Brown are made true to the classical North African form. Four adjustable nylon strings spanning the inside of the goatskin head create the characteristic buzzing sound. With tuning capabilities this drum can explore rounded low ends and produce crisp taks. To control these an internal dampening layer controls overtones whilst the deep Siam Oak shell helps the head resonate and also creates a comfortable hold during long sessions. Includes a Hex Key for easy tuning.
