This Lamole di Lamole Vinsanto del Chianti Classico is a 50cl white wine from Italy. It has a baroque mellowness with a firm underlying framework, and a deluge of aromas including candied orange peel, apricot and nectarine, wax, gritty honey, tobacco and herbs. The flavour is sweet and mouth-filling, yet ultimately classic and well-balanced, with a rich saline note in the aftertaste. It is versatile and pairs well with sweet dishes such as cookies, tarts, cheesecake, chocolate or cream desserts, as well as fine blue cheeses, liver crostini, rabbit terrine or castagnaccio (chestnut cake).
