box is very tatty tested this and there was definitely a signal of some sort but couldn't quite get it tuned in, although I'm not sure if the resolution is just too low for the modern TV I was using. sadly I don't have a CRT around to test properly I'm told this had one previous owner since new and has been stored in a loft most of that time-nearly 50 years! box aside, the condition of the unit is pretty good.
