The slim bead holds up to 80 characters across two lines of 40, enough for a name and a date or a short phrase to keep close. The bead slides on and off the strap, so it can be threaded alongside the others in any order you like.. Engraving. Letters sit under 1mm tall, so we usually work in capitals to keep everything clear at that scale. Engraving runs around the bead with a small gap of around 4mm at the back where the line ends and begins.
