Our Milestone Ring is a hand-shaped sterling silver band threaded with small hammered rings, each one marking something worth marking. Silver rings stand for ones, gold for tens, so the ring builds up the number whoever's wearing it is celebrating.. A 21st has two gold and one silver, with the silver sitting between the two gold. A 30th has three gold. A 50th has five gold. A 25th has two gold and five silver. The system extends however you want it to, and you don't have to follow it at all if you'd rather pick a combination that just looks right.. The base ring is hand-shaped in our UK workshop and finished with the gently organic texture we use across this family of rings. The smaller hammered rings sit around the band in your chosen combination of sterling silver and 24ct gold vermeil..
