Rest bends are installed at the foot of a soil stack, making the connection between the soil and vent system and the underground drainage system.Rest bends have a longer radius than standard 87.5 or 88 degree bends to minimise the chance of any blockages. They also incorporate a moulded plastic foot that enables the bend to be self-supporting - replacing the traditional half brick that builders used to use to support the bend. The extended rest bend has a higher reach than a standard rest bend. Both ends of this fitting incorporate a 110mm ring seal push fit socket.
