NichtsFjortAlbum DigipakDescription: nichts by the Aachen post-hardcore band FJORT is a 50-minute experience. nichts gains numerous new facets from the band's dense sound which wanders fluidly between all varieties of hardcore and post-rock. The valleys are deeper than ever in the heights there is hardly any air to breathe. The atmosphere feels almost tangible. Lyrically FJORT have always been cryptic and remain true to this line but on nothing are also concrete as rarely before. Maybe because times like these crave for ruthlessness more than ever. Maybe also because a kind of gallows humor has found its way onto the album which skillfully breaks with the absolute seriousness. More varied and simply greater sounded this band never before.
