These units have been designed to lockout electrical panel buttons and switches with no inbuilt lockout provision. The Electrical Panel Lockout products are available in 3 different designs and all work in a 2 stage operation. The base plate should be attached directly onto the electrical panel over the top of the relevant switch/button using the provided adhesive backing. This allows the housing piece to be then placed over the switch preventing access to. The Electrical Panel Lockouts can then be locked using the supplied brass padlock. The circular units have been designed to be used with push button (mushroom) panels whereas the square units can be used for electrical panels which have a lever. The square electrical panel lockouts allow for handles which extend outside of the unit through the holes on 3 sides of the cube.
