This device prevents overfill in steel oil and diesel tanks. Often referred to as a spill stop, it is attached to a 2†fill point of a diesel tank and shuts off the supply of oil when the tank reaches maximum capacity. It should be noted that this device will cause you to lose 150mm of space in your tank which may reduce the overall capacity.
