Domaine de Boischampt Juliénas 2023 is a fragrant, juicy and wild Beaujolais from the often overlooked Juliénas cru. It has flavors of blackcurrants, ripe raspberries and pink peppercorn. The palate is super fine with very soft tannins, lots of clean, juicy red fruits and a nice fresh saline finish. This wine is very drinkable straight from the rack, or as a superb accompaniment to a juicy beef burger. Domaine de Boischampt is a property on the move and is perhaps symbolic of the Beaujolais appellation today. The domaine's long, proud history and the quality of the blue stone soils on which much of its vineyards are rooted are evident in the bottle. The wine is crafted from local Gamay and offers depth and elegance.
