Charley Crockett, the GRAMMY Awardnominated, critically acclaimed country iconoclast, will release his second album of 2025, Dollar A Day, on August 8 via Island Records. Once again joined by creative kindred spirit and GRAMMY Awardwinning coproducer Shooter Jennings, the new LP marks the second instalment in The Sagebrush Trilogy, coming just five months after Lonesome Drifter, part one of the trilogy and his Island debut. Dollar A Day may very well be the apex of his signature Gulf amp Western sound to date. Like its predecessor Lonesome Drifter, Dollar A Day was recorded at the fabled Sunset Sound Studio 3 in Hollywood, CA, with Crockett and Jennings once again helming the proceedings. With Shooter, Ive never felt more like myself in the studio, explains Crockett. I dont feel judged. At all. Its truly a partnership. Hell, Id say hes my best friend, and you cant aspire to greatness without that kind of trust. With Lonesome Drifter, it felt like we opened the portal. With Dollar A Day, we stepped through and came out the other side.
