Despite being magnetic it avoids an electric character staying quiet and hum-free with no battery required.The dual-coil humbucking layout is positioned parallel to the strings and acoustically isolated helping reduce finger and pick noise. Theres also a built-in phase switch which is especially useful if youre combining this pickup with a piezo or internal microphone in a multi-source setup. Installation is quick and reversible fitting soundholes 3.5 inches and larger.
