Dark wine-red fading to pinkish white. Dahlia Darkarin is an unusual decorative dahlia; it can sometimes have an almost peony-type appearance. It has a velvet-like colour with white frosting, and the greyish-green leaves set the flowers off to good effect. It can sometimes throw a bold white streak down the petal.
