Domaine de la Janasse is one of the finest estates in the southern Rhône valley, run by astonishingly talented brother and sister team, Isabelle and Christophe Sabon (recently joined by Juliette, Christophe's daughter). The top Châteauneuf du Pape cuvées are among the region's most sought-after, however, the far more affordable Côtes du Rhône is also of exceptional quality. It's a glorious expression of Grenache, with pronounced, attractive strawberry and leafy aromas, and a delicious, succulent and harmonious palate. Rich and ripe, yet fresh and balanced, it's a standard-bearer for the family's reputation. A bargain!
