Deep purple-violet with a silvery-white interior and vivid orange stamens. Crocus Tommasinianus Ruby Giant is a selected form with deeper, more saturated colour than the species, at 10cm. A reliable naturaliser and outstanding early-season bee plant. Flowers February to early March.
