Cooper King New Make Malt Spirit is basically a whisky before it is aged in wood, and officially becomes whisky (after 3 years and a day!). It is simply one of the best ways to experience the quality of a young spirit prior to ageing. Here are two ways you can enjoy this unusual spirit: 1). Compare it to the aged versions... i.e. the whiskies from the distillery.What might you smell and taste in the New Make?Sweet barley and fruit aromas, toffee pennies and a sumptuous maltiness in the mouth, with a long and rich finish. 2).
