Described as a fresh, woody fragrance, Clinique Aromatics Elixir Eau de Parfum Spray for women opens with top notes of aldehydes, coriander, camomile, clary sage, lemon and verbena, bergamot, Brazilian rosewood and geranium, flowing into a heart of carnation, tuberose, orange blossom, orrisroot, jasmine, ylang-ylang and rose, rounded off with a base of sandalwood, patchouli, musk, oakmoss, vetiver and incense. New York cosmetics giant Estee Lauder launched Clinique at Saks Fifth Avenue in 1968. Soon the brand expanded its collection to include cosmetics and fragrances. Clinique's first fragrance, Aromatics Elixir Eau de Parfum, was introduced in 1975, but the brand's best-selling perfume is Happy, which launched over 20 years later in 1997.
