Château Peyros Madiran Héritage 2020 is a plush and silky wine with lots of oomph, but modern and fresh in style. Tannat's classic blackcurrant and spice lead the charge, while Cabernet Franc lends overtones of blueberries and violets. The palate is creamy and full with dark, juicy fruit flavours. This wine is perfect for a long summer evening, paired with grilled lamb chops and roasted vegetables. Madiran is a hidden corner of south west France with lush hillsides and glimpses of the Pyrenees. Château Peyros has been owned by the Lesgourgues family since 1999, with significant investment in the vineyards and cellar. The wine is made from seventeen hectares of vines, mainly planted with Tannat and Cabernet Franc, on silty clay soils.
