There's a great, zesty acidity and loads of citrusy flavours which balance the richness on the palate. The finish is long and luxurious. Tucked between the foothills of the Alps and Burgundy, the Jura is France's most confidential wine producing region. This bottle fermented sparkler comes from the Jura's largest and oldest co-operative, the Fruitières. The base of the wine is 100% Chardonnay, but a splash of Vin Jaune, the region's famous yellow wine, is added immediately prior to bottling, giving the wine awesome complexity in both aroma and palate.
