The Echezeaux comes exclusively from the Drouhin family's own holdings in the northern part of this Grand Cru, which abuts other famous locations: Musigny and Clos de Vougeot. Intense in colour, it evokes peach and apricot stone fruit aromas, as well as the more expected red cherry character. Beneath this are dark chocolate and fragrant hints of sandalwood on the velvet-textured palate. Extremely long finish.
